Liverpool F.c displayed master piece football when they battled burnley at anfield. The reds showed that the premier league new boys, burnley, were definitely not a match for them as they controlled every department on the field. Israeli international Yossi benayoun was a thornin the flesh of burnley who could not find an answer to his rampaging moves around their 18 yard box.

Liverpool's constant pressure payed dividends as benayoun struck in the 27th minute of play after he dribbled two burnley defenders, showed gile in front of the goal before tucking it into the right of goalkeeper to open his account for the season. Tottenham slump to ten man United

Manchester united exhibited a scintillating performance at white hart lane to ward off the seeming speed of tottenham up the premiership table. Evergreen Ryan giggs equalized for the defending champions with a well taken free kick in the 25 minute after berbatov was brought down.

Nigeria held by tunisia

Nigeria soccer suffered a blow dealt to them by Tunisia in a world cup qualifier game. A game largely controlled by the west African team ended up in a tie. Osaze odemwingie opened scoring in the 25th minute when he did a yeoman job and drove into Tunisian goal, eliminated two Tunisia defenders and shot into the top roof of the Tunisia goal. Tunisia leveled the score almost immediately in the 27th minute with a curled blistering shot from Tunisia midfielder Nabil Sliti. Going on into the second half saw the Nigerians largely take over possession of the game which resulted into a goal from substitute eneramo that got a pass from obinna nnsofor after Chelsea midfielder mikel obi moved dangerously on the far left of the Tunisian goal in the 85th minute. The lead didn't last long as poor tactics and defense saw the Tunisian restore possession and raced up towards the Nigerian half that resulted into goal scored by Oussama Darragi in a similar fashion as Osaze odemwingie. He put the ball into the top corner of the Nigerian net to make it 2-2 on the night. The north Africans held on to grab a point. This tie ensures that Tunisia stays top of the group with 8 points from 4 games and Nigeria 6 points from 4 games and in a danger of not making it to south Africa 2010.

England strolls into South Africa.

The English national soccer team eased their way into next summer world cup competition by trouncing Croatia 5-1. England opened the account on the night through a penalty kick taken and converted by Chelsea midfielder frank lampard. Steven Gerard made it two for England in the first half. The scoring spree continued as frank lampard made it a brace for himself and three for England from a cross he got from the menacing right full back Glen Johnson who proved to be invaluable on the night. Steve Gerard also made it two for himself and four goals for England when he got a cross from the hardworking Rooney on the night. Wayne Rooney got on the score sheet when he was gifted a pass from the Croatian goal keeper who poorly cleared the ball into the path of the Manchester united forward. Rooney wasted no second when he put the ball into an open goal post. Croatia got a consolation through arsenal striker Eduardo while involved in a goal mouth scramble in the English goal area. this will make it 9 goals in total that England put past Croatia in two games. This victory makes it 8 wins out of 8 games played for England. A 100% record that ensures their journey into south Africa 2010 is unperturbed.

Cameroon Vs Gabon , 2 - 1. The lions bounce back!!

Cameroon bounced back from a disappointing brace of games to pounce on the Gabonese national team 2-1. The indomitable lions made their mission clear from the onset and throughout the course of the game. jeam Makoun put the home crowd in a frenzy state when he first struck the net in the 24th minute. The lion carried on their dominance of the game into the second half. This resulted into a second goal inter Milan striker and former African footballer of the year Samuel scored a goal that seemingly dimmed the fight in the Gabonese in the 64th minute. Gabon struggled to pull one back in the 90th minute through subsitute Daniel cousin who came in for Pierre Aubameyangin the 59 minute. Both teams met five days ago, also in a world cup qualifier that saw the Cameroonian revival when that beat Gabon in Libreville 0-2. Cameroon now sits on top os the group with seven points.

Argentina Vs Brazil 1 - 3

Soccer warlords, Brazil, continued their dominance over argentina. In a high tempo game saw the Argentinians commence attack of the Brazilian goal from the blow of the whistle. Luis Fabiano scored a brace in the game, kaka remained a thorn in the flesh of the Argentinians whom seemingly could not just get rid of him. The first goal came from elano's free kick which got converted with a nod into the Argentine net by Luisao in the 23rd minute. Luis Fabiano scored his first from a loose ball in the Argentine net after a free kick was taken. Argentina pulled one back in the 65 minute through Jesus Datolo. Kaka once again displayed he is the king of the passing game when he laid a through ball that beat two Argentine and into the path Fabiano who curled the ball around Argentina keeper, Mariano Andujar. I wonder if the legendary Diego Armando Maradona will keep his job after his latest defeat

Denmark Vs Portugal, 1-1

In a game where portugal had chances after chances to bury the Dens, surprisingly came out with a point. Denmark scored the first goal in the 42nd minute through arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner. He showed calm after chesting the ball before he released a seemingly rocket that flew pasted the portugese keeper, Calvaho Eduardo. Danish goal tender, Stephan Anderson, kept the myriads of portugese chances with fantastic saves. Cristiano Ronaldo kept running rings round the danish defense but could strike blood. Portugal finally equalised through brasilian born Da silva muniz Liedson in the 87th minute. Portugese chances of booking a ticket to south africa next year seems all so slim.

England Vs Slovenia, 2-1

England continued their winning streak and a 100% record by ensuring a victory against Slovenia last Saturday. Frank lampard gave England the lead with a penalty kick after Wayne Rooney way purported brought down in the 18 yard box. Jermaine Defoe also continued his fine form in front of goal by making it two for the lions of England. Slovenia was able to pull one back but could not make the comeback.

France Vs Romania 1-1, Eschude's error

A game largely dominated by the french team ended with one goal apiece and also a point a piece. It was had to predict the Romanians coming out of the game with a point considering the french 13 points on goal with 8 on target as against the 3 shots on goal with 2 on target. Henry Theirry socred to put france ahead, an error by the french defender eschude while trying to clear the ball from his goal area resulted in an error that ricocheted off his side foot and into his own net. Romania held on to earn a point

Hungary Vs. Sweden 1-2, Ibrahimovic's dagger

In a game practically balanced, eventually saw the Belgian hearts shell shocked by a late from Sweden's danger man Zlatan Ibrahimovi. The first goal was scored by Olof Melberg in the 8th minute. The home team, the belgians, came back with an equalizer from a penalty kick converted by Sszabolcs Huszti in the 79th minute. Owen hargreaves returns from a long term tendinitis problem, which made him undertake surgery to resurge his soccer career. He name is included in the champions league squad that will commence participation in September. It is expected that he will be included in the first game against german club wolfsburg.

New castle stages comeback onslaught

Newcastle united F.C of england are making solid of their ambitions to come back to the top flight football in england with their fourth win of the season. They now have four victories and a draw. That takes them to 13 points and now on top of the championship table. A goal from Danny Guthrie after 52 minutes of regulation time was enough to seal victory in their last match against Leicester city. To be fair to the opposition, leicester had begging chances to level the score, but the magpies ( as Newcastle is fondly called) had the better of the day. Although it is probably too early to start judging, but from the look of things, they seem to focused on booking a ticket back to the top flight, the premiership.

Adebayor makes it 3 out of 3 for manchester city

Emmanuel Adebayor has proved he is worth his salt and is proficient and at the same time prolific in front of goal. He scored his third goal in three matches that he has played for his new club Manchester city. With this, city makes it 100% record and staging a strong onslaught for the English premiership title.

All in all i personally don't think Manchester city is "a small club with small mentality"...... to defy the quote of Sir Alex Ferguson ( manager of Manchester united).

inter pummels milan, juve shocks rome

It was most definitely a weekend of "on the road victories". Inter's thiago motta, milito, maicon and dejan stankovic hit a total of four goals past Ac milan goal tender in game where milan was to stage a contest against the nerrazurris. Milan captain was red carded for a second bookable offense just before he was supposed to be substituted.. how sad!!

The old lady had a good run in rome where they put three past roma. Diego scored two while Felipe Melo put the icing on the cake to make it three and an all brazilian affair for juventus on a day the strikers could not just convert!!

Abou diaby's nightmare, United Victory!!

Manchester and arsenal were definitely engaged in a pulsating match at Old trafford, united's home. Arsenal definitely had a lion share of the possesion during the entirety of the match. Arsenal struck first through Andrei arshavin's monstrous stike in the 40th minute. Boy he really can hit it "HARD". United equalised in the 59th minute through rooney's penalty after he was brought down. Abou diaby handed mancheter united the lead when he put the ball in his own net in the 64th minute.

Manchester held on to take the first leg. I can say that the second leg in emirates promises to be fireworks.

It becomes a case of facing your past in group F when Barca and Inter clash and also AC Milan and Real Madrid lock horns in group C i.e Zlatan brahimmovich and Samuel Eto'o facing their old clubs and also Kaka facing AC Milan.

Arsenal stroll over celtics

One of the available champions league spot was taken up by Arsenal F.c of england as they sauntered over celtics of scotland. It was played over two games. The first leg was won by the gunners(arsenal), as they are famously called. Many say it was quite an unfortunate loss for the scottish team as both goals scored were undeserved. The first was a deflection off the back of william gallas and the second was an own from gary caldwell of celtics.

Regardless of the misfortunes of the first leg, the Arsenal stamped their authority over celtics who proved no match for the english side. The game ended 3-0 in favour of arsenal. The first came from a controversial penalty when eduardo was purportedly brought down by celtic's goaltender Artur Boruc. It was converted by eduardo himself.

Arsenal was poised to make sure their sail through to the champions league finals would be by no means associated with fluke goals. The second and thrid goal came from eboue and arshavin respectively whom showed guile in front of goal before converting to make sure the match was less of a contest. Meanwhile, there was a consolation for celtic when Donati scored from an acute angle to beat almunia.

United bounce back, Arsenal spree, City on course

Manchester united football club came back from the disappointment of the burnley match to pummel wigan 0-5 at the jjb stadium. The first half of the game didn't seem to be showing promise for the defending champions as they went into the break with no goals for either team. The second half saw a different enraged united team that scored 3 goal under 12 minutes. Micheal Owen registered his account with sublime goal from a clinical pass from the Portuguese winger, Nani. Two more goals from Berba and Nani to complete the route.

Arsenal on the other hand are beginning to defy comments made during pre-season games by thumping Portsmouth 4-1 at the emirates. The gunners team showed alot of promise with their sublime passes and clinical finish which makes it two wins out of a possible two.

Manchester city stayed on course for the title race with a win at home to Wolverhampton. A goal from the ex-arsenal player Emmanuel Adebayor, who got a pass from Carlos Tevez in the 17th minute of play was all city needed to secure a win.

Carbon capture and storage (CCS)

Several approach and ideas has been developed in order to ameliorate increasing complaints of the effect of "Global warming". Carbon dioxide gas has been targeted as the main culprit. Basically, these are available technologies involved to capture this gas from point sources such as; turbine, cement factories, Oil refineries, then due to a network system of pipes the gas is stored under tested and secured geological formations. Such formations where carbon dioxide can be stored include; depleted oil reservoirs, depleted gas reservoirs, Underground coal seams.

After storage, the wells with which the gas was channeled into the ground is completely sealed up. That is not to say that problems are not encountered. As a matter of fact, a lot of issues arise such as leakage through these injection wells or possible fracture of storage formation during injection. Such problems are currently been resolved in the industry.

Monitoring of these injection sites will be carried out for a good number of years to ensure stability and compactibilty of the gas in the store geological formation. CCS is not the complete solution to the rising global temperature, but it is certainly one of the required technologies and/or approaches to combat it.

Iletracy or Poor schooling standards

After watching a video of a young man, allegedly an engineering student, whom could not decipher the working mechanisms of a motion door, it makes me pause to wonder what sort of engineering he studies in school or the 'school' he attends is of questionable standards... your opinion.....

Oil and Gas jobs

Recent surveys shows that Petroleum jobs rank amongst the high paying jobs anywhere around the world. The ambit of such jobs include Roustabouts to supervisory personnel positions. Such explains the influx of people into the Petroleum majors. Currently, schools that offer petroleum majors are experiencing high applications and consequent high enrollment.
The catch of it all is the equal demand of such engineers and expertise in this field. Regardless of the economic downturn, companies still make sure that they employ in order to avoid a gap, such as that of the 80'S. In addition, the price of crude oil is about $67 per barrels and on the slow and steady increase which indicates another hike in job demand.
Do you want to take a major with the "Black Gold" ?

English Soccer Heads

Once again the most viewed drama series in Britain is up and running. I am actually referring to the English premier league in England. So much for the transfer money have seen teams loose top notch players, and other teams simply off-loading player regarded as "excess to demand". Defending champions Manchester United commenced on a somewhat bright note by winning a fiercely fought battle with Birmingham, Chelsea F.C struggled to beat Hull city and Liverpool succumbed to Tottenham's fire power. The gunners, Arsenal F.C , seems to be sending out a strong warning to both contenders and pretenders by pummeling Everton at goodison park. Heavy spending Manchester city came up good by winning away to Blackburn rovers. Although, its still too early to make predictions, but it won't be surprising to say that alot of surprises are coming our way. Time will surely tell. Tell me what you think.

Panacea to slow running PC

Slow running computers is a general issue encountered by most PC users. It is a problem encountered worldwide. To get down to the brass tacks of the whole situation, not very many people envisage the root of the slow functionality of their computer. It comes from a database of the windows know as the "Registry" which is also know as the brain of the computer.
A lot of files in the registry are open when the PC is running, most of these files end up been saved wrongly or become damaged. Now these corrupt files becomes difficult to read , hence making the PC run slow. Hundreds , if not thousands of files , can become damaged or corrupt in these manner.
The best way to resolve this is to clean up the registry itself and there are soft wares to help you do just that such as RegTOOL.
